August 23, 2012 Whale Watches

9 am and 2 pm Whale Watches with Joanne

 9 am Trip:


Amazing morning aboard the Tails on Southern Stellwagen Bank.  Humpbacks Cantilever, Reflection, Snare, Putter and Wizard, along with many minkes & fantastic views of a pod of Atlantic white sided dolphins leaping out of the water and swimming under our bow!! We even had a curious approach with a humpback swimming right over to us. 

2 pm Trip:  

The afternoon proved to be fantastic--Breaching, lobtailing, flippering from Snare and Reflection, right next to our boat and in perfect unison!!  AND an incredible sighting of a loggerhead sea turtle!!!, Along with a pod of Atlantic White Sided Dolphins.  Another incredible day offshore.
